1972 - Started in the construction field
1977 - Entered into a partnership building homes from 1,500 to 2,500 Sq. Ft. 1985 - Dissolved partnership and started John M. Dotzel Builder Inc. Started working with Architects on up-scale homes and additions. We presently build homes in the range of 2,000 Sq. Ft to 12,000 Sq. Ft. and large up-scale additions 1987 - Became involved in the York Co. Builders Association. Served 2 years on the Board of Directors 1990-1992 - Served as line officer in the York Co. Builders Association 1993 - Served as President of York Co. Builders Association 1993 - Received the 1993 Grand Award Winner for Excellence in Residential Remodeling on projects over $75,000 1996- 2003 - Served as a trustee on the York County Builders Association Insurance Trust 1998 - Received the 1998 Grand Award Winner for Excellence in Residential Specialty and Detail 1999 - Received the 1999 Grand Award Winner for Excellence in Residential Remodeling on projects over $150,000 2001 - Received the 2001 Grand Award Winner for Excellence in Residential Remodeling on projects over $300,000 2003 - Received the 2003 Grand Award Winner for Excellence in Residential Remodeling on projects over $200,000 2008 - Returned to serve on York Builders Board of Directors 2009 - Received the 2009 Grand Award Winner for Excellence in Residential Remodeling on projects over $300,000 |
